2024 was a difficult year for the Foundation as The Island Trust took Pegasus out of commission and up for sale earlier in the year. Despite strenuous efforts, we found it impossible to find a suitable coded boat to replace her in time, so reluctantly we did not run a dedicated CYSF funded voyage in the 2024 Classic Channel Regatta.
The CYSF did, however, encourage the Rona Sailing Project to bring their 75ft ketch ‘Donald Searle’ to part of the regatta and provided some limited funding.
